My Story
I know what it’s like to achieve success while feeling like you don’t belong.
As an immigrant, a person of color, a gay kid who was teased—I was always the “only one” in the room. I learned early that I might not be the most naturally talented, but I could work the hardest. That belief became my survival strategy.
It got me far. Art Director at Sony Music by age 22. Working with brands like The New York Times and Mastercard. On the outside, I looked like I had it all together.
Inside, I was barely holding on.
The pressure. The imposter syndrome. The constant proving myself. I could execute brilliantly, but I struggled with leadership—navigating office politics, managing my own projections, and building sustainable success. No one taught me that in art school. I was trained to create, not to lead.
I hit my own leadership limit early.
The Breakthrough
Here’s what changed everything: I realized I was taking myself wherever I went.
I kept trying to fix my circumstances—the job, the title, the recognition—thinking that would finally make me feel like I belonged. But I was outsourcing my power. Waiting for the world to validate me. And as long as I did that, I’d always be a victim of my circumstances.
The breakthrough was getting in ownership. Own where I wanted to be. Own what was actually in my way. Do the inner work through coaching and personal development.
That’s when I started volunteering as a coach and knew: this was my calling. Not creating campaigns. Empowering people to take ownership of their lives.
I integrated both worlds at LimeLife (now Alcone)—Chief Empowerment Officer, then Chief Growth Officer. I learned leadership from the inside: the tactical and the transformational. I saw where talented leaders hit their limits—not from lack of skill, but from lack of ownership.
What Emerged
The Ownership Game came from this journey: the realization that sustainable success requires taking full ownership of three things:
- Your Projections – The beliefs and reactive patterns holding you back
- Your Desires – What you actually want (not what you think you should want)
- Your Leadership – How you show up for yourself and others
This framework is what I wish I’d had at 22. It’s what I now give to leaders who are where I was: successful on paper, but hitting a wall.
What I do Now
I work with high-achieving entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals who’ve hit their leadership limit—that inflection point where hustle, control, and sacrifice stop working.
Through keynotes, workshops, and coaching, I help leaders integrate inner work (mindset, wellness, spiritual practice) with outer work (leadership effectiveness, team development, sustainable systems).
The goal: Transition from exhausted achiever to energized leader. Scale impact without burning out. Build success that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
You don’t have to choose between impact and wellness. Between ambition and balance. Between success and meaning. But it requires leading differently than you have been.
Why This Matters
I do this work because I’ve been where you are. I know what it’s like to be successful while struggling with the leadership, the internal game, and the sustainability of it all.
I empower leaders who know they need to lead differently but were never taught how. Leaders ready to integrate the inner and outer work. Leaders done with choosing between achievement and fulfillment.
This is what I was meant to do.
